Holy-hop-dog musical. Don’t google it, and – more importantly – don’t try it at home (unless your family and neighbours are as patient as the dog’s love).
Kluska (Noodle) is a Bull Terrier female, always hungry, spending a joyful puppyhood in the home of a childless pair of creative corporate employees. Unfortunately, over time, Kluska begins to cause trouble… of metaphysical nature.
It is a musical for three actors based on real-life (with some fantasy). Tragicomic in content and minimalist in form, with an unobtrusive ambition to be the first specimen of a new theatrical genre: fairy-tale but not too sweet; current, but not journalistic; poetic, but understandable.
Hits from “Holy Noodle” (premiere in October 2018) have not yet entered the pop culture charts, although its creators are first-league artists.
However, it cannot be ruled out that the canine phantasmagoria was created just to tell us/you/them how inhuman we are when we are human, instead of promoting hits.
