A philosophical treatise on non-finishing. Here is the story of three actresses with diplomas but no jobs who wait for a phone call with information about the next casting or the next shooting days of a series (“there was supposed to be a follow-up”). In the meantime, they are mothers, students, builders, masseuses, boxers, laundresses, and cooks.
Are they happy? There is too much to do to muse about that. Are they procrastinating? Well, aren’t we all just gathering our strength before the explosion of creativity?
Waiting for professional recognition, they put on a show.
Aga Bogdan, Monika Dawidziuk and Magdalena Majtyka’s main tasks are to “stand in a good light” and “pass this casting”. Their show-within-a-show is a mix of theatre, film and television formats with singing parts.
Wouldn’t it be easier if we could sing our lives?
