When Spięty suspended Lao Che, Nanga was born – a new band and a new idea to draw on the potential of the musicians who had been part of Lao Che over the years.
Magda Dubrowska, Maciek Dzierżanowski and Karol Gola create a rich musical landscape (dominated by low frequencies) that reflects their fascination with trip-hop, electronic music and coldwave.

Their performances are a dose of dance energy and a strong poetic message with clear allusions to Polish social life and world pop culture.
Nanga has released two albums that have been well-received by audiences and critics.

“In Magda Dubrowska’s case, what stands out above all is the unique timbre of her voice, the positive flow and lyricism, and finally, the literary references that her bandmates follow, creating varied arrangements that are sometimes very close to me – like the whole world of the singer’s associations”, wrote Bartek Chaciński from “Polityka” on the Polifonia.pl blog.
