She has a voice that is both rough and tender, a creative imagination, a performer’s charisma, and diligence, thanks to which she never shows up unprepared to meet inspiration. With her own body of work — as a singer and songwriter, on stage and in theatre — she could easily supply a dozen artistic souls. And perhaps that’s why there is this need to slow down, to hide for a moment, to stop clicking and scrolling.
Blue light won’t give us warmth.
