With Little Death Wishes, CocoRosie bring to the stage an experience that goes beyond a concert, becoming a true sonic and visual rite. Bianca and Sierra Casady create a suspended, intimate, and unsettling space in which music, voice, and stage presence intertwine in a deeply emotional narrative.
The live show is rooted in their latest album, released in 2024, but it expands far beyond its boundaries: the new compositions converse with iconic songs from their catalog, giving rise to a continuous flow of sonic images, memories, and visions. The songs on Little Death Wishes explore themes of fragility, loss, desire, and transformation, approaching pain not as an end but as a passage—a threshold, a possibility of rebirth.
On stage, CocoRosie alternate delicacy and intensity, minimalism and powerful rhythmic involvement, creating an emotional landscape that envelops the audience. The visual and performative element—made up of gestures, costumes, and lights—reinforces the show’s theatrical dimension, turning each concert into a fully immersive sensory experience.
Little Death Wishes live has been described as a hypnotic and intense journey, capable of surprising and deeply engaging. CocoRosie once again confirm their artistic uniqueness: a project that eludes definition, suspended between experimental folk, visionary electronics, and performance art.
A concert that is not merely listened to, but lived—an invitation to cross complex, fragile, and necessary emotional territories, guided by one of the most singular and recognizable voices in contemporary music.
